The Architect's Newspaper announces Theo. David's exhibit "Built Ideas: A Life of Teaching Learning and Action" which opens on March 1st 2012 at the School of Architecture, Pratt Institute. The exhibit will also be traveling to Athens, Greece and Nicosia, Cyprus later in the year. TDA's competition entry for the redesign of the Old G.S.P. Area in Nicosia has been published by ArchDaily, the world's most visited architecture website.
The idea for this concept of an urban park as a cultural threshold evolved from thinking about the nature of urban space, the need to create an iconic multi-functional accessible park, a dynamic architectural point of reference as threshold for the evolving cultural and civic center of the polis of Nicosia, a European capital.

We are very happy to announce that TDA has been shortlisted in the Housing category of the World Architecture Festival 2011. The “Gladstonos 22” housing development in Nicosia was selected by WAF along with 15 other international housing projects and will be presented to the WAF jurors in early November where a winner will be announced. More than 700 entries from 69 countries were evaluated in the various project categories.

The Makedonitissa Elementary School and Kindergarten - Stylianos Lenas in Nicosia was officially inaugurated on March 1st 2011 by his Excellency Mr. Dimitris Christofias, President of the Republic of Cyprus. To celebrate the event, the school's children presented a specially prepared musical and theatrical program to the guests.

The Allegra GSP Sport Center has been selected as one of the distinguished projects submitted for the 2010 Architecture State Awards (Cyprus) and was part of a special exhibition at the University of Cyprus campus from December 20-22, 2010.
